1. About Prera Travels
Prera Travels ("Prera Travels", "we", "us", or "our") is a ride coordination and booking service. We connect riders with independent contractor drivers for long-distance trips, out-station rides, inter-city travel, hourly chauffeur bookings and other similar transportation services across the United States.

We are not a transportation carrier and do not own or operate the vehicles used to provide rides. All driving services are provided solely by independent contractors who operate on their own behalf.

2. No Responsibility & Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prera Travels does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, injury, delay, accident, incident, claim or cost arising out of or in connection with any ride, your use of the services, or the acts or omissions of any driver or third party. By booking or taking a ride through us, you acknowledge and agree that you travel entirely at your own risk and that your agreement for transportation is primarily with the individual driver.

Without limiting the foregoing, Prera Travels shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages of any kind, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

3. Independent Contractor Drivers & Background Checks
All drivers who accept rides through Prera Travels act as independent contractors. They are not employees, agents or representatives of Prera Travels. Drivers are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, maintaining valid driver licenses and vehicle registrations, carrying any legally required insurance, and operating their vehicles safely at all times.

We make sure that every driver we onboard is verified and that background checks are performed as part of our screening process; however, no screening process is perfect and we cannot guarantee the behavior of any driver at all times. Background checks are conducted based on the information available at the time and may not capture all past or future conduct. We do not guarantee the continued suitability, safety or performance of any driver, and we do not undertake any ongoing duty to monitor drivers beyond our internal procedures.

4. Technical Staff Participating in Rides
From time to time, a few of our drivers might be from our technical staff or may accompany drivers on rides in order to gather feedback, understand real-world route conditions and improve our platform. These individuals are well-qualified drivers who meet our onboarding requirements. Because we optimize routes and expenses where possible, some such rides may be priced lower compared to other providers. By booking with Prera Travels you consent to such participation for operational and quality-improvement purposes.

5. Pricing, Service Fees & Exclusions

• Base fares generally start at approximately $1 (one U.S. dollar) per mile, but actual pricing may vary depending on factors such as route, time of day, vehicle type, driver availability, duration, and special requests.
• A service fee of 6% is applied to the total trip amount for coordination and platform services.
• When you pay by card, a separate payment processing charge of 3.5% is applied by or on behalf of our payment processor.
• Unlike many app-based services, we do not use surge pricing. Once you confirm a quote, the agreed base fare will not be increased due to demand, but it may still be adjusted for changes in route, waiting time, tolls or other extras you request.
• Tolls, parking charges, entry fees, and other miscellaneous charges are not included in the quoted base price unless explicitly stated. These will either be added to the final bill or paid directly by you during the trip.
• Overnight charges, extended waiting charges, or multi-day trip fees may apply where relevant and will be communicated to you at the time of booking whenever reasonably possible.
• Cleaning and damage fees may apply if the vehicle requires special cleaning or repairs due to spills, stains, smoke, bodily fluids, or damage caused by you or your party.

6. Insurance
Prera Travels is not an insurer and does not provide personal travel insurance or cargo insurance. Each driver is responsible for maintaining any insurance required under applicable law. We strongly recommend that passengers verify coverage details directly with the driver and consider purchasing additional travel or trip insurance, where available, especially for long-distance journeys or high-value items.

In some cases, insurance may need to be purchased separately for each ride and will be billed as an additional charge. Any such insurance is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing insurer, not Prera Travels.

7. Bookings, Minimum Notice & Cancellations

• We encourage riders to book at least three (3) hours in advance of the requested pick-up time. Last-minute bookings are accepted only on a best-effort basis and are subject to driver availability.
• Estimated pickup times and trip durations are provided for your convenience only and are not guaranteed. Traffic, weather, road closures, enforcement checkpoints, and other unforeseen events may cause delays. Prera Travels is not responsible for any loss or cost resulting from such delays.
• Once a driver has accepted your trip and is en route to your location, cancellation fees apply. The exact amount may depend on the distance already traveled by the driver, time spent, and any other costs incurred. These fees are designed to fairly compensate drivers for their time and expenses.

8. Passenger Conduct & Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate trip details (pick-up and drop-off locations, intermediate stops, number of passengers, luggage requirements, special needs, etc.) so your driver can plan accordingly.
• You must wear seat belts where required by law and ensure that all minors are properly restrained in child seats if needed. You are responsible for providing compliant child or booster seats, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
• Smoking, vaping, or consumption of alcohol or illegal substances may be prohibited in the vehicle, as determined by the driver and local regulations. Drivers may decline service or terminate a trip if they feel unsafe or if their vehicle is being misused.
• You agree to treat drivers and any accompanying staff with respect and follow reasonable instructions that relate to safety or legality of the trip.
• You are responsible for paying all agreed fares, fees, and charges in full at the end of the trip, including any applicable tolls, parking, cleaning or damage fees, and cancellation fees.

9. Disclaimers & Indemnity
Except as expressly required by law, we provide all services "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. This includes, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or quiet enjoyment.

You acknowledge that we do not take any responsibility whatsoever for events that occur during the ride, including but not limited to road accidents, personal injury, loss or damage to personal property, delays, missed flights, missed appointments, or acts or omissions of drivers or third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Prera Travels, its owners, managers, employees and affiliates from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the service, your conduct, or any ride you take through us.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time without prior individual notice. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.

• Communications and feedback: Messages you send to us by email, text or messaging apps, as well as feedback or complaints you provide to our technical staff, drivers or support team. For quality and training purposes, some calls may be monitored or recorded after notifying you where required by law.
• Technical information: Basic technical and usage information when you visit our website or interact with our online content, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your inquiries, provide quotes and confirm bookings.
• To coordinate rides with independent contractor drivers and, where applicable, accompanying technical staff.
• To process your payments and send receipts or confirmations.
• To communicate with you about upcoming trips, schedule changes, delays, driver contact details and other service-related information.
• To improve our routes, pricing, dispatching, customer experience and safety procedures, including through feedback collected during or after rides.
• To maintain internal records, perform accounting and meet legal, tax and compliance obligations.
• To protect our rights, property and safety as well as that of our drivers, customers and the public.
• Where permitted by law, to send you occasional service updates or information about new offerings. You can ask us to stop such messages at any time.

4. Sharing of Information

• Independent contractor drivers: We share only the information necessary for them to complete your trip, such as your name, pickup and drop-off locations, contact number and any relevant notes.
• Technical staff and internal teams: Limited information may be shared with our operations and technical teams so they can monitor service quality, gather feedback and improve the platform.
• Payment processors and banks: When you pay by card, your payment is processed by third-party payment providers who are responsible for handling card data in a secure, PCI-compliant manner.
• Telephony, email and IT service providers: We use third-party vendors to route phone calls, send emails and host our systems. These providers may process limited information on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of your data.
• Legal and safety purposes: We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation or legal request, to protect the safety of any person, or to defend our rights and property.
